Burim H. Behluli is the President of the Board at the Coalition of NGOs for the Protection of Children – KOMF. At the same time Mr. Behluli is the National Program Development Director at the SOS Children’s Villages Kosovo. Mr. Behluli is at the end of Master studies for Clinical Psychology and at the same time holds Bachelor degrees from the Faculty of Psychology and at the Faculty of Law. He has many years of extensive experience in the social and legal field, as well as in the level of management and consultation, starting from needs analysis, project cycle management, concept development. Since 2003, he has been involved in several research projects and has worked as an independent expert, mainly in areas related to various social and justice issues. He enjoys voluntary work, especially the ones related to children.
Petrit Tahiri is the Secretary of the Executive Board in the Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection – KOMF. Mr. Tahiri is currently working as Projects Manager for Kosovo Education Center – KEC, which is a member of KOMF. Mr. Tahiri graduated at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology. Mr. Tahiri has more than ten years of experience in the field of education and protection of child rights. Mr. Tahiri has a broad and excellent experience in the development of researches and analysis in the field of protection of child rights, researches on the situation of the education sector, the development of various sectorial strategies, etc. Mr. Tahiri works as an independent expert for many international agencies and organizations.
Gani Lluga is member of the Executive Board of the Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection – KOMF. At the same time, he is the Executive Director of ASTRA – Association for Social Training, Research and Advocacy, which is a KOMF member NGO. Gani Lluga graduated at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Sociology and has more than 15 years of professional experience in social services in Kosovo. He has devoted many years of work and experience to the reforms of the social protection system in Kosovo. Mr. Lluga has an extended experience in supporting the decentralization process of the social services, standards on social services, as well as monitoring and inspection of social and family services. Mr. Lluga also works as an independent expert for many international agencies and organizations.
Muhamet Arifi is the Executive Board Member in the Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection -KOMF. At the same time, Mr. Arifi is the founder and current Executive Director of Balkan Sunflowers Kosova (BSFK), a local NGO implementing many projects directly benefiting Kosovo’s Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities. From 2009 until 2012, Mr. Arifi represented the Ashkali community in the Communities Consultative Council (CCC), advising the Kosovo’s President. Mr. Arifi is involved as an expert in drafting different policies related to the minority Communities in Kosovo and internationally.
Afrim Maliqi is a member of the Executive Board of Coalition of NGO-s for Child Protection – KOMF. At the same time he is the director and founder of HANDIKOS, whose mission is to achieve positive and sustainable changes in the lives of persons with disabilities through representation, protection of their rights as well as providing services for persons with disabilities. Mr. Maliqi is a human rights activist of persons with disabilities who has also contributed to the Kosovo Drafting Law and Polices on human rights. Mr. Maliqi has also participated in several international and regional meetings where cooperation was reached.
